Description:
Due to expansion, we are recruiting for an additional .Net developer to work alongside our junior developer and lead developer to design, develop and maintain software using languages and technologies from the .NET platform. This software will be used to integrate with our suppliers, customers, and in house applications.


In this role, you should be able to write functional code, with a sharp eye for spotting defects and refactoring opportunities. Our stack includes Visual Studio 2022, ReSharper, Telrik Blazor, Entity Framework Core, .net core 3.1 and 6.0 and IIS10. This role is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in our office at Lowfields Business Park, Elland.


Your Day-to-Day as a Developer
  • Participate in requirements analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
  • Test and deploy applications and systems.
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
  • Improve existing software.
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.


Role Requirements
  • Proven commercial experience.
  • Strong understanding of C# and ASP.Net Core.
  • Strong understanding of OO design principals and patterns.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Blazor and SQL Server.
  • Experienced and confident with ORMs (Entity Framework desirable).
  • Ability to independently and proactively problem solve.
  • Strong organisational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • ASP.NET – MVC, AS400, DB2 and DevOps are desirable.
