The position of Desktop Support Administrator works alongside the System Admin team to deliver and support all hardware/software requests and incidents for all internal group employees, along with some external customers.

This role will primarily be required to work support during core business hours, but there may be a requirement to support outside of those hours where necessary.


This role will be responsible for day to day desktop support, provide troubleshooting for hardware, software and 365 packages8 and provide major incident reports across the UK and Canada customer base. The Desktop Support Administrator will also be responsible for supporting the starters, movers and leavers function and working to SLA’s in line with those and also be responsible for asset management within the company.


This role would suit someone looking to start their career within a technology company, who is passionate about tech and providing excellent customer service. We have some great development opportunities within the company!

Requirements

We know you will have some amazing skills that you can bring to this role, but we think the most important are;

  • Windows knowledge and an understanding of basic computer issues within Windows and Mac in a desktop support capacity.
  • Experience in customer service (whether directly as Desktop Support or in a solely customer service function)
  • Experience of working within a team whilst also be able to work autonomously. We have a great team who are here to help but you must be able to take responsibility for your own workload.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to document to a high standard.
