Warrington £22,000 to £30,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Phone + Pension + Training Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 (some overtime required) Design Engineer required for a reputable company who work with leading names within the retail sector.

This is a great opportunity for a Design Engineer or Product Designer to join and become an integral part of a well established business with a fantastic reputation.

The company offer a friendly working environment with training on offer and excellent progression opportunties are available.

To apply for this role you will be hold experience as a product designer or a design engineer.

You must have experience using Solidworks and will ideally have experience working with sheet metal.

Candidates from any industry where they are designing products for manufacture are welcome to apply.

Experience with SolidWorks PDM would be advantageous but not essential.

The successful candidate will work within a small team and will be responsible for using SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create bespoke 3D and 2D designs consisting largely of sheet metal.

Working to agreed timescales, you will finalise drawings for suppliers and customers and produce renderings to support the sales team.

You will create manufacturing documents such as BOMs to support the manufacture and assembly of products in house.

In addition to this, you will also work closely with the business development team in meeting with clients off site to understand their requirements and represent the company on design feasibilities and limitations.
