Monday - Friday 40hrs (early finish on a Friday)

This is a permanent opportunity working for well-established and highly successful organisation that is now looking to expand their design team. The Design Engineer will be responsible for undertaking the design requirements for a variety of components. This is an excellent job opportunity for either an experienced Design Engineer or a recent graduate with either a related Engineering or Design related degree.

Responsibilities And Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To
  • Work conceptual designs up into manufacturing drawings and instructions
  • Design products that address material availability, manufacture, cost, weight, delivery and installation
  • Address any issues that relate to customers’ existing designs or suppliers
  • Ensure that manufacturing instructions are accurate and check the correct information is present.
  • Issue manufacturing instructions
Skills And Experience
  • Previous knowledge and experience using a 3D Package is essential (Solidworks)
  • A degree within a design/engineering discipline would be advantageous
  • Strong experience in designing solid-surface products for manufacturing
