The Opportunity:Reporting to the technical & quality design lead, you will be a key member of the Design team. With a total focus on the customer, quality and innovation, your main objective will be to provide technical support to internal and external customers, whilst developing existing and new products and processes in line with the overall business strategy.

The Company: A quality machinery brand leading the way in agricultural engineering, from design through to manufacture, with a range of machinery sold via an existing network of dealerships across the UK and overseas. This company prides itself on their innovative and durable machinery product range and their design & development concepts are very much in line with the move towards conservation agriculture across the globe.

Skills/Experience Required:

Essential

  • Strong Solidworks skills
  • Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of welding techniques and structural designs
  • Comfortable following change control procedures
  • An appreciation of ISO9001 and homologation requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to explain solutions changes at all levels
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team as required

Desirable

  • Exposure to sage and BOM creation
  • Construction, agricultural and/or machinery background

Remuneration: A highly competitive remuneration package will be on offer to the successful candidate, dependent on experience.
