The main purpose of this role is to support Team Leader/Manager to co-ordinate the day to day operation of the Certificated Dealing Team, utilising available resources in order to deliver a quality service to customers in line with agreed service standards.

Core Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assists Team Manager with co-ordinating available resources and monitoring workflow to ensure that the daily workload is consistently completed in line with agreed service standards
  • Assists Team Manager with recommending and implementing changes to the way in which the team operates to improve service quality and process efficiency, supporting line management in the implementation of centrally driven changes when required
  • Assists Team Manager with leading, motivating, developing and appraising team members, co-ordinating their ongoing training and development in order that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard
  • Assists Team Manager with monitoring individual staff and team performance, recommending actions to resolve problems in order to maintain operational efficiency and service quality
  • When required provide project support ensuring own deliverables are on time and to specification
  • To always undertake the duties of this role in accordance with the requirements of the company’s Regulators, including FSA’s Principles for Business

Skills & Knowledge And Qualification
  • Good working knowledge of IT applications that may include but is not limited to Microsoft Office, Master Access, Xanite, Sirius & DEC.
  • Self organisation

  • Ability to plan tasks and keep to timescales
