I’m currently recruiting a new team of security professionals that have a thorough understanding of applying contemporary security solutions commensurate to our business needs. We be delivering effective integration of security into the earliest stages of our projects and programmes to ensure effective security and resilience. I would like as part of the team a strong security communicator that can bring their security knowledge from a highly regulated sector to further develop, influence and innovate our offering to the business.

Key Deliverables

  • To assist the Site Security Manager (SSM) provide leadership and management of the security team to ensure the delivery of an effective security service and emergency response capability to the site and deputising when necessary.
  • Meet the requirement of sites where there are more sensitive areas, with requirements for vetting of personnel requiring a minimum of CTC and SC in line with our regulator, the Office for Nuclear Regulation – Civil Nuclear Security & Safeguards (ONR-CNSS) Personal Security standards.
  • In the absence of the SSM act represent the site as the primary point of contact for ONR-CNSS ensuring that actions resulting from their inspections are undertaken, completed and communicated to the regulator in accordance with specified timelines

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educated to NQF level 3 / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Detailed knowledge of security regulations and procedures.
  • Relevant experience in security related roles.

Please be aware this role holder requires security clearance, or the ability to obtain said clearance.

There is a requirement to live within a commutable distance to the sites where the role is based. For central/multi-site roles, we have various hubs across the UK and can be flexible with base location.
