Salary: £20 per hour / £39,000 per annum

Requirements: *By law, from 11th November 2021, all staff working in a care home must have completed the Covid vaccination course or prove medical exemption. *

This is a perfect opportunity to become part of an experienced and compassionate team as a Deputy Nurse Manager. The company are well established and have over 120 homes across the UK. They provide the highest standards of care in their homes.

Situated in the picturesque village of Highgate, this is a tasteful home that offers high-quality residential and nursing care, as well as care for Old Age, Dementia Care & Mental Health Conditions. The home currently supports 55 residents. As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will be taking responsibility of delivering the very highest standard of care as you assess nursing needs, identify and taking right precautions for each resident. You’ll be also supervising colleagues, managing shifts, and making sure handover summaries are completed to the correct standard for the provider. Leading your team, you will oversee all day-to-day care activity in your designated unit or floor within the home, including maintaining accurate records for each of our client’s residents whilst consistently delivering the very highest care standards. As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will be taking responsibility for all the home and delivering the very best level of care and running the entire place when the Home Manager is absent.

You will be provided with a structured and thorough training program which will include various training courses. A thorough programme of appraisal and supervision meaning all staff can fulfil their potential and an interracial recruitment system ensure staff have the opportunity for promotion within the company. You will also be given to opportunity to access training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills - receiving ongoing support from your manager.
