£38,500 p/a – Band 6 Equivalent | FT Days | Supernumerary Hours | Large Nursing Home A large elderly nursing home in the Penzance area currently requires an experienced Registered Nurse to work as Deputy Manager. The home is fully CQC compliant and offers elderly and disability nursing care packages in a beautiful setting, and has built an excellent reputation for delivering the highest standards of care and living. Details of this Nurse Deputy Manager vacancy and what is offered:
  • A permanent contract to work 38 hours per week on flexible day shifts, with one X 12.5 hour clinical shift and 3 shorter supernumerary days per week required
  • A great annual salary in the region of £38,500, which is in line with NHS Band 6 rates of pay

  • On-going training, learning and development As Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Registered Manager and will take responsibility for coordinating clinical service delivery within the home. You will oversee, manage and monitor care plans and will ensure the highest standards of care that meet the needs of residents and exceed legislative requirements.   • NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN/RN1/RNA, Mental Health Nurse/RMN/RMHN or Learning Disabilities Nurse/RNLD
  • Demonstrate proven experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting, and have substantial experience in a long-term adult care environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive approach to leadership
