Deputy Manager, Mental Health

Aylesbury

£26,476 - £29,418 per annum plus sleep in allowance

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced deputy manager or team leader to support in the management of a specialist supported living house for people with mental health issues.

This is an excellent role within one on the leading care providers for mental health support.

Key aspects of the role include organising the team to ensure the highest standards of care and support are upheld at all times, working with the manager to carry our supervisions and ensuring policies and standards are maintained in the house. The role will include assisting the team with care and support when required and helping to develop the independent living skills of the residents, as well as helping to organise rotas, co-ordinating the staff team and ensuring the highest standards of care are upheld at all times.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience within a related care field, as well as a genuine enthusiasm for care and a creative approach to the role. The role is based on a 37 hr working week but also includes a share of sleep-ins, evenings and weekend work as required.
