Deputy Manager

Park House Residential Home is a 30 bedded residential home with a soon to be added dementia friend 5 bedded area within our luxury establishment situation off the main seafront in Weston-Super-Mare. We pride ourselves on the good reputation we have built over the years and the high level of care that we provide and continue to uphold our Good rating with CQC.

We require someone to fullfill this role that has previous experience of being in a Deputy Role.

The role will include office hours and working hours on the floor with the care team.

Duties:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the organization
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategic plans and objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, trainings, and workshops for staff members
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to organizational activities
- Support the Manager in developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and partners
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in health and social care

Skills:

- Hold an NVQ Level in Health & Social Care or working towards
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individual
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze data for decision-making purpose
