Superb, purpose build care home specialising in elderly care is now looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse - RGN with previous experience as Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse or Ward Manager to step into the role of Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead Nurse in order to take on the lead for the clinical side of the care home management and also to support the Registered Manager and cover for the Manager if required.

Job Snapshot of Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead Nurse position:

Starting Salary, negotiable, depends on experience in region of £45k to £50k

40 hours per week - some shifts on the floor, some supernumerary hours

Some of the job requirements for Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead Nurse :

You will lead the team in ensuring the delivery of person-centred care for vulnerable residents and ensuring that care is assessed and planned in a way that is consistent with evidence-based practice.

You will provide nursing leadership to the team, offering support and guidance to your colleagues as appropriate.

You will be involved in recruitment of new staff members, ensuring the service always has the right number of skills mix of staff and lots more.

You will have sound knowledge of CQC regulations, risk assessments, medication management and care planning.
