We have an opportunity for a Deputy Care Home Manager to join our management team in Hemsworth. As Deputy Home Manager you will be fully integrated into the management team, and will work with the Home Manager to make local decisions about the way the home is managed and residents are supported. Alongside this degree of autonomy, you have an unrivalled level of professional support from your colleagues within the home and across the Group.

To Get You Thinking

  • £55 - £60,000 per annum
  • Willing to gain an NVQ4 management qualification.
  • Highly skilled Senior Team and Head Office support - friendly and supportive teams

Requirements

  • 2 years management experience within the Care Home environment preferred but not necessary
  • Would suit nurse looking to move into management, existing deputy manager.
  • Clear and concise communicator with excellent listening skills
  • NMC PIN
  • Experience of ’Care of the Elderly’
  • The ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times

The role

The Key Aspects Of The Role Are

Maintain a safe, healthy, happy environment for residents, involving them in decisions about their care.

Lead the staff team with a positive approach to resident participation.

Develop and maintain strong and collaborative working relationships with external agencies, in order to benefit residents.

Deputise for the manager in their absence in all areas of managing the home.

You

You will bring a level of relevant management experience in a care setting, perhaps you have experience as a Deputy Manager that you want to develop in a different setting, or are looking to step up into a more responsible role and are looking for a supportive environment in which you can realise your potential.
