An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as an EJ200 Deployed Support Engineer - Field Service Representative.The role will be based in Al Taif, Saudi Arabia and interviews will take place in Bristol for UK candidates who interested to work in Al Taif, Saudi Arabia in a local contract and unaccompanied status.

As an EJ200 Deployed Support Engineer you will be playing a significant role in providing technical support on the EJ200 engine in the deployed environment. The role requires a high level of EJ200 specific technical competence and demands an ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within Rolls-Royce and with the Customer.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide technical support/advice to Operators BAE Systems and RSAF to assist in the diagnosis of problems at Aircraft/Engine Systems level and Engine Health Monitoring Support.
  • Manage effective Inspection, repair of engines and modules within the scope of forward support to meet the needs of the contracted KPIs.
  • Support the adoption and resolution to closure of Modification and Technical instruction campaigns.
  • Test, condition and recover LRIs using test sets and diagnosis techniques within the scope of forward support.
  • Manage the interface between the Rolls-Royce Operations Room, BAE Systems and the RSAF Engineering Authority, on behalf of the Operators through RDRs, QAs, etc.
  • Support the tactical decision making process with respect to the availability of engines, modules and LRIs.
  • Provide trending data to Rolls-Royce Service Engineering and EUROJET.
  • Maintain an overview of sentencing decisions made on modules and components.
  • Document status of engine prior to transfer back to industry (ERIF).
  • Assist with quality investigations and customer complaints in conjunction with the designated Quality Professional.
  • Represent Rolls-Royce at Engineering Meetings (MOF, DISC, Tech Instruction Review, Aircraft PIRM, RSAF Logistics, etc).
  • Report technical highlights on a weekly basis to agreed circulation list.
  • Recognise that HS&E is the responsibility of ALL personnel.
  • Maintain Inspection Approval currency and competency on the EJ200 engine.
  • Lead and deliver continuous improvement activities within the TPSF.
  • Represent the Operations Manager as required.
Qualifications
  • You must have extensive experience in the fields of aircraft maintenance, working for an recognised aircraft propulsion maintenance repair and overhaul MRO organization.
  • Hold a degree/apprenticeship in an engineering based discipline or equivalent extensive relevant experience of 4 years.
  • Have the necessary skills and experience to carry out engine maintenance tasks.
