A leading FMCG organisation are looking for a permanent Demand Planning Manager to join the team in Rochester offering up to £60,000. This role has been created due to business growth and demand and this is an exciting opportunity to add a market leading business to your CV.

The Demand Planning Manager will be accountable for all inventory forecasting, creating purchase orders and ensuring goods are maintained at the correct level for onward supply to customers. Plan inventory flow, analyse statistical data, and generate forecasting solutions.

Role responsibilities of the Demand Planning Manager include:

Management of Inventory Forecasting and Demand Planning

Generating and submitting planned purchase requirements where appropriate

Play an active role in supporting monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process through hosting review meetings

Manage New Product Development processes

Manage end-of-life processes in conjunction with business need to ensure slow moving inventory is minimised

Continuously improve forecast accuracyPerson Specification of the Demand Planning Manager:

At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing/FMCG environment, ideally food/drink manufacturing

Excellent working knowledge of managing data through Excel and an ERP/MRP system

Excellent communication skills across all departments

New Product Development experienceSalary

Up to £60k

This role is 100% office based
