About The Client

Our client Is a global software company who build products and tools for improving software development, project management, collaboration and code quality. Their products serve over 200,000+ companies worldwide.

The requirement

We are looking for a freelance digital marketing expert to work on behalf of our client to build a digital program with third party vendors, and then own and manage the relationships to successfully execute short and long term campaigns that will drive sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

Demand Generation
  • Developing and executing short- and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads and the sales pipeline for solution partners in region via marketing agency
  • Leading A/B testing strategies with agencies
  • Monitoring and optimizing campaigns and programs agencies are executing
  • Ensure agencies understand our clients customer personas and know their buying preferences
  • Assisting in content development via our clients channel marketing campaigns team to target consumers throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Working within a team of digital marketing professionals and collaborating with our clients departments on what tactics are working not working and providing these insights to the global agencies
  • Assuring buy-in and budget support from senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Measuring and analysing agency campaigns and marketing success
  • Delivering performance reports to our client and their teams

Agency Budget Management
  • Own budget tracker & report monthly accruals
  • Vendor/Supplier Management
  • Manage the relationship between our client and the Vendor/Marketing Agency
  • Agency management; manage agency/vendor RFPs, onboarding and streamline how we will engage with those partners
  • Ensure proper MSA, SOW and security protocols are up to date and ongoing
  • Identify gaps in supplier relationships and assist with helping source support in new and ongoing areas
Legal/Procurement
  • Ensure all contracts and legal language are up to date and both our clients, their customers and team are protected
  • Continue to update and optimize how we track contracts and keep track of terms and payments to 3rd parties
  • Ongoing MSA management to ensure all vendors are compliant and up to date on our clients security and privacy requirements.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Drive the on-boarding of new vendors/agencies
  • Drive the weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly and planning sessions with vendors
  • Lead weekly meetings by assisting with agenda planning
  • Support and drive team to deliver on data required for monthly/quarterly planning including MBR’s and OKR where needed
  • Build program best practice and KPIs to measure against
  • Assist leadership team in evangelizing program status across the company via blog, Slack brown bags, webinars or video
  • Lead and discover the best way to establish a quarterly intake to assess agency work for the team by working with CM, CMM managers
  • Lead and assess process improvements for sprint planning and stand ups to assist with planning and decision making

Experience & Qualities
  • 5+ years of related demand gen experience
  • Strong comprehension of finance and accounting practices including rolling forecasts, expense and accrual tracking, and revenue planning utilizing Coupa and Anaplan
  • Experience in a combination of strategy and operations roles on both agency and brand side marketing
  • Ability to quickly understand complex issues and develop/apply simplifying frameworks to facilitate a broader organizational understanding, decision-making and action
  • Experience in Agile work flows
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical ability
  • Experience in relationship building and working collaborative with cross functional teams; brand, product, events, leadership, partners, etc..
  • Strong communication, leadership and influencing abilities
  • Ability to drive negotiations with marketing agencies and suppliers and internal teams
  • Experience presenting recommendations to senior executives
  • Proficient in productivity and presentation tools.
