About the role

As a Van Driver, you will play an essential role in helping us to be the largest distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products to our customers. You will be accountable for the distribution of goods to our customers in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with agreed SLA’s. You will be responsible for loading your vehicle and then fulfilling your allocated route, using an EPOD (electronic device) to record your deliveries and obtain signatures.

This will be multi-drop deliveries and drivers will interact directly with our customers, therefore customer service skills are essential. Drivers will be assigned a route but may be required to cover other routes to provide support for holiday and absence cover.

It would be advantageous if candidates had prior knowledge of the North West Region, however, full support and on the job training will be given to all colleagues ahead of them completing their assigned route.

Reporting to the Transport Manager you will play an integral part in making sure that we exceed company key performance indicators (KPI) measures and continue to deliver an efficient, safe and vital healthcare service to our customers.
