Ace Appointments Midlands Ltd are seeking an experienced and well-presented Delivery Driver for a client based in Thurmaston.

This is a permanent post offering an immediate start.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30pm

Driving: Mercedes Sprinter (standard clean UK licence is required)

The ideal candidate will have gained previous experience in a similar job role and possess good customer relationship building skills. The role will require you to interact directly with our client’s, clients and holding good English verbal communication skills is key.

Further job duties include:

  • Packing/Loading of the vehicle
  • Driving to 1-4 delivery addresses; various locations in the UK – drops will vary with distance and an expectation is a driver will be back for 17:00 to 17:30pm each day.
  • Face to face interaction upon delivery with a customer
  • Unloading of the vehicle at the destination
  • Returning the vehicle each evening to our clients location
  • As the delivery will sometimes be going to a site address a friendly nature would be required as the final face of the client
  • There will be paperwork for each delivery which will need to be signed and returned to the office.

The newly appointed driver will be required to undertake guidance and instruction by the current driver before being permitted to operate on their own.
