As a Delivery Driver you will be required to complete a 1 week training, during this time you will be put with a buddy driver to learn your routes as well as given other safety training.

Key Accountabilities
  • To maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users
  • To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition including a check of the lights, brakes, coolant, etc
  • To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays
  • To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle
  • To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day’s work
  • To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times
  • To check all orders shown on the dropsheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle
  • To collect goods returned for credit, mail, cheques or delivery bins and their safe return to the branch at times as instructed by the branch management
  • Ensure damages/breakages are dealt with promptly and correctly with due regard to special procedures for HazChems
  • To maintain a smart appearance at all times
  • To help maintain good customer relations
  • To be involved in other duties as may be defined from time to time by the Management
  • Meet all Health & Safety requirements
All timesheets will be approved the following Wednesday and you will be paid before the following Friday.
