Dash Couriers are looking for a self employed courier & collection driver for an immediate start. Our business revolves around being on time and communicating with customers and shift managers.

The role:
Working a regular 10 hour shift, your day will start with some same day courier work which can take you all over the south of England delivering anything from an envelope to a van load of palletised goods. You will be responsible for obtaining proof of delivery and some basic paperwork.
Then from lunch time onwards you will carry out a regular collection route of approx 10 stops picking up large volumes of parcels for a national delivery company.

• Weekly pay into your account.
• Guaranteed minimum of £100 for a 10hr shift plus occasional overtime.
• We supply a lwb van with insurance & fuel card at no cost to you.
• Mon to Fri shift pattern, from 8.00am until 6.00pm.
• Regular daily collection route from the same business customers.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Some heavy lifting is involved as you will collect large volumes of small parcels from local businesses.

Long wheel base van driving experience is essential. You should confident and courteous behind the wheel as a representative of our company.

You MUST be a good communicator and be obsessed by time keeping.
This job is time critical so you should take pride in your work, be very reliable and enjoy meeting deadlines.

3 years driving experience and no more than 6 points on your license. (no IN, DD, TT endorsements in the last 5 years)

Safety must always be a priority. Black boxes are fitted to all of our vehicles to ensure 100% safety on the road.

Good communication skills. Our customers have high standards and expect the best service.

Ability to work on your own initiative. Out on the road, you will be your own boss and should be good at problem solving and be proactive.
