Job Description

What We’re Looking For

The Delivery and Finance assistant supports the running of the wider Snook business, guided by the Account Manager and Delivery Manager. Overall, staff and team experience is key, ensuring the end-to-end experience of being a member of the team is inclusive and people can deliver high quality work.

Behind the scenes, this means; administration and improvement of evolving internal processes and communicating with the Snook team in an informative and engaging way.

Whilst this role is required primarily to provide support with our finance and delivery processes, as a part of the operations team, you will be involved with wider operations team tasks as and when required.

We’re looking for an Delivery and Finance assistant who can:
  • Support our rapid growth by maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within our business.
  • Work in partnership with our delivery and finance team
  • Report accurate and timely statistical data to the senior leadership team.
  • Document, improve and help to create new internal processes
  • Be a confident communicator and connector. Communication is key at Snook to ensure the staff are in the know about developments, everyday activities and strategic objectives
Responsibilities

Administrative

Tasks Will Include

Your main duties will be assisting the operations team with daily finance and delivery administration tasks, full training will be given.
  • Invoice management: monthly billing, weekly invoice approvals and query and dispute handling
  • Timesheet approvals and reconcilliations
  • Budget tracking and reporting
  • Assigning resource to projects
  • Enginnering and nurturing internal stakeholder engagment
  • Maintainance of and data entry using internal project management systems
  • Purchase Order management
  • CRM support for New Business and Delivery teams
  • First point of contact for general finance tasks, including expenses, small payment management, subscription management and supplier set up
  • Maintaining accuracy and integrity of information in reports
Documentation and data

This Includes

Documenting working processes is important, especially as our company scales. Your role should always document, improve and help to create new internal processes.
  • Documenting key processes so others can repeat them
  • Creating new process when needed, and being able to articulate in plain English for all to understand
  • Being an advocate for our Playbook (collection of guides) and ensuring process and key file information is available
  • Ensuring one source of truth is kept of information across our servers and drives
  • Managing our Google Drive, ensuring it is kept clean and organised, removing draft files where safe to do so
Qualifications

Your Skills And Experience

  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritise across a diverse range of workstreams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong background in finance and administration
  • Confident with technology and engaging at length with people remotely and sensitively
  • Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Able to hit the ground running

All offers are subject to satisfactory security vetting and reference checks. As standard, all roles undertake a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check. As a provider of services to the UK Government, where necessary we adhere to HMG’s personnel security and vetting policy requiring that minimum personnel security controls are checked as specified in the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
