Helix Offshore Crewing Services Ltd is recruiting for a Deck Engineer (Hydraulic) to work onboard the Company Vessel ‘Well Enhancer. This is a UK based offshore position working on an equal time 4:4 rota.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Deck Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of the hydraulic equipment pertaining to heavy cranes, derrick, deck hydraulics and subsea equipment. They may also be required to assist with diving system hydraulic machinery and other Hydraulic Equipment systems.

Experience/Background:

  • Strong fault-finding ability on large hydraulic systems.
  • Good large crane/derrick experience (or transferrable skill set from tensioners etc.)
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems.

Mandatory Entry Level Requirements:

  • MIST
  • Bi-deltoid Shoulder Measurement
  • UKOOA Medical or equivalent
  • ENG1 Medical
  • OPITO Survival
  • STCW Basic Safety Training
  • Proficiency in Security Awareness
