The successful candidate will join our experienced multidisciplinary team of skilled and highly motivated staff in our 24-bedded inpatient community ward. We deliver quality services for patients requiring generic rehabilitation for older persons, deliver frailty, subacute and discharge to assess pathways.

An opportunity for leadership and clinical supervision is provided to all ward staff, enabling the maintenance of professional standards within NMC guidelines to provide a high standard of patient care. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of Doctors, ANPs, Therapists, Nursing staff, Pharmacists, and support workers to provide high quality care to patients on our ward
  • To promote and maintain a high standard of individualised care by actively contributing to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of care, ensuring that care plans are used effectively, adhered to, and updated as the patient’s condition dictates.
  • To maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients, relatives, visitors, and staff.
  • To demonstrate clinical decision-making skills, displaying evidence-based practice
  • To deliver patient care using a variety of clinical skills in line with competency framework.
  • To be actively involved in promoting self-care for patients and building health promotion into care as appropriate.

The “must haves” for this role:
1. Registered Nurse /Adult Nurse Trained along with complete NMC registration (or in the instance of a final year nursing student able to provide these prior to their agreed start date for the role)
2. To work bank holidays/weekends or unsocial hours to meet the needs of the service.
3. Reasonable level of fitness required.
4. Good Communicational and Interpersonal Skills
