Senior Sales Engineer

Role Overview

In the role of XDR Sales Engineer, you will report to the Director of Sales Engineering and play a critical role in the ongoing growth of Trellix. Your mission is to help customers protect their business with XDR threat detection, hunting, intelligence, and response automation solutions.

About The Role
  • Advise customers on how they can address their threat detection, threat intelligence and incident response requirements with Trellix XDR and Partner solutions
  • Lead technical solution sales activities within the account to gain the technical win and customers’ trust
  • Gather requirements, develop use cases, and understand your client’s business drivers and constraints in Sec Ops
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of Trellix XDR solutions and integrated partners aligned to customer needs and outcomes
  • Manage the technical response to RFIs/RFPs using technical resources, knowledge, and virtual teams to help achieve a comprehensive response
  • Present solution proposals that articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of Trellix products and solutions
  • Conduct Proof of Value engagements on Sales opportunities. This includes installation and configuration of Trellix solutions, training individuals on the use of Trellix solutions.
  • Work closely with customers to grow and expand the implementation/integration of Trellix products.
  • Act as an interface between the Sales organization and technical support staff to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Provide reporting and feedback on customer accounts and field activities to Sales, Product Management and Engineering.
  • Build-up and maintain relationships with customers, partners and industry leaders.
  • Be a mentor for other SEs and Partners by sharing best practices and conducting training on products as required by the region

About You
  • You have a passion for threat intelligence and love to stay up to date on the latest campaigns and actor techniques affecting our customers
  • You have a passion for threat management and building cyber defensive architectures to better detect and respond against threats
  • You have good knowledge and experience with a wide variety of Sec Ops technologies such as EDR, SOAR, or SIEM
  • You have a good understanding Mitre Attack Framework and how it can be used to improve security
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Additional Desirable Skills And Attributes
  • Industry leading Sec Ops certifications such as OSCP, CEH or SANS will be an advantage
  • Experience working in Security Operations teams as an analyst, incident responder or threat hunter is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of selling Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service is a plus
  • Python scripting knowledge highly desired
  • Familiarity with various hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies
