A successful Senior Manager - Finance Data Analytics will gain deep understanding of how Mars operates and apply this to find critical challenges faced within Finance and beyond. Armed with this knowledge, and in partnership with the Analytics delivery and Data Science teams, the Senior Business Translator will surface insights through data, solve problems and drive business actions; enabling value creation for Mars.

What are we looking for?
  • 5+ years of experience in a Finance insights role or equivalent is preferred, ideally in CPG, Telecom or Financial services.
  • Comfort and good intuition with analytics & modeling and advanced applied skills (e.g. Regression, Customer life cycle value, A/B testing)
  • Courage to lead the business teams to action & value realization
  • Knowledge of CPG and Retailer, including experience with internal data and syndicated data sources like Nielsen/ IRI.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills + Design Thinking - proven User Centric delivery experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Partner closely with the business team to identify key problems and business challenges
  • Work within the Finance Analytics Hub (Data Science , Data Engineering, Analytics Delivery) to drive insights and capabilities that enable business action / value creation.
  • Lead the delivery of Analytics and AI capabilities - management of resources and 3rd party teams.
