Be the business partner to several business unit teams of approx. £10-£20m NSV/year. Alongside the section head of the business unit lead the development of a financial roadmap for the business unit, including delivering a quality forecast for cyclical S&OP process . Report on business performance and escalate insights, variances and mitigation or opportunity proposals to key stakeholders.

What are we looking for?
  • Degree level education ideally a qualified Accountant
  • accounting experience to include technical accounting and business partnering
  • strong business acumen and decision making to enable them to operational new business ventures
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Manage BPS reporting tools for overheads and A&P to meet requirements and timings of Regional S&F team.
  • Take lead defining and coordinating ways of working between the business section teams and Financial Control to ensure that master data, costing data and selling prices are recorded and updated accurately
  • Be responsible for developing and growing the decision making and financial analysis skills within these cross functional teams to empower and support section teams to deliver their section strategies. Monitor and report on performance of business sections targets Broaden and drive understanding of financial levers and measures and quality decision making in the section team members to support agile and entrepreneurial behaviours.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the product profitability database with accurate costing and pricing and providing periodic inputs to the Regional S&OP forecasting cycles for business sections supporting. Be accountable for accuracy of the business section accounting including control of trade spend budgets with 3rd party distributors and period end provisions and accruals.
