About Our Client

This temporary Credit Administrator role in Slough is working for a FTSE 250, fast paced business.

Job Description

This temporary Credit Administrator position will involve the following responsibilites:


  • Contacting clients and checking billing details along with any special requirements ensuring account are set up correctly


  • Chasing missing purchase orders numbers to enable invoices to be released to clients where required along with updating them onto the internal portal system


  • Taking calls and transferring them to the correct department, or dealing with the query if possible


  • Folding, enveloping and franking outgoing mail


  • Overseeing the generic Accounts email inbox, ensuring that all Temp-related emails are responded to, or redirected to the appropriate credit controller to respond to


  • Locating the appropriate invoice that incoming purchase order numbers relate to and ensure that the invoice is amended to quote the Purchase Order.


  • Manually amending invoices with necessary changes requested


  • Logging queries received and ensure their timely conclusion within agreed SLA’s


  • Any other ad-hoc duties that are requested by the credit control team

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for this temporary Credit Administrator position will need to have the following skills:

  • Finance Admin experience desirable
  • Customer Service background desirable
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to start on short notice (1 week max)
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

What’s on Offer

This is a temporary position with the potential to go permanent. There is also car parking on site.

This role will initially be based 5 days per week in the office for training however once the role is learnt, there will be the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.
