What The Role EntailsSome of the main duties of the Civil Supervisor will include:
  • Support management team to always uphold high levels of safety & compliance for civils works
  • Support and oversee day-to-day supervision of civils site setups ensuring fully compliant
  • Ensure team members are accredited and competent for the specific works activity
  • Work collaboratively with the contracts management, operatives, planners and HSEQ teams
  • Arranging work to ensure adequate time and resource are available to all teams to facilitate safe working.
  • Auditing/inspecting teams to ensure safety compliance.
  • Coordinating the work from receipt, through to job completion
  • Ensure that operational and financial targets and deadlines are met and that the works and services are implemented in accordance with the contract requirements.
What experience you need to be the successfulCivil Supervisor:
  • Experience working within a civils environment as a senior member of the team
  • Knowledge of NRSWA legislation
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to use initiative and make critical decisions under pressure
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Understanding of cost and value
  • Understanding of programming
