Location: Newark

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: DOE + Team related bonus based on targets and efficiencies

Hours: 40.25 hours per week, Monday – Sunday (554) shift pattern

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as part of our skilled MET Technician team in a busy, varied role. Working in the bodyshop, the role requires the following:

  • Remove & refit mechanical and electrical trims / panels / components on vehicles
  • Wheel Alignment and Tyres
  • Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition
  • Fault finding / Diagnostics
  • Mechanical Skills and MET Skills
  • Perform road testing (if applicable)
  • Awareness & adherence to all necessary standards and H&S procedures

About you:

Choosing the right person is important to us as we continue to grow our team. To ensure we choose the right candidate for the role, we are looking for someone:

  • Previous bodyshop MET/Trim experience is essential
  • A good and thorough understanding of vehicle refurbishment repair process
  • Able to work well within a team and on their own initiative
  • Able to use specialist equipment
  • With a keen eye for detail, quality and who takes pride in their work
  • With a flexible attitude to working hours and overtime
  • With an ATA, NVQ or City and Guilds certification, however this is not essential
