Data Engineer – Mid-Senior – Pharmaceuticals We are partnered with a pharmaceutical marketing platform whose vision it is to create the world’s leading source of patient insights. With fast growth in both the UK and US, my client are a product-led growth business with a strategy to sell to Pharma Advertising agencies alongside directly to Pharmaceutical Marketing teams. The role:As a data engineer in the PatientMetRx development team you will:Improve data-science based capabilities of the teamDevelop the team’s backend data applications, pipelines and monitoring used to ingest, process and store data.Decide on the most efficient, simplest techniques to apply for each specific problemBuild solution which are reliable and scale in productionActively be involved in the whole development process (design to implementation, testing and launch)Day-to-day work alongside and with the development team. This includes software engineers, NLP experts, the product manager and the product owner.You should have: Experience as a Data Engineer and knowledge of data science techniquesPython, SQL, Azure cloud computing, data store and pipelinesAgile software development, CI/CDAbility to work as part of a remote, fast-paced team Other info:Fully remote role.Glasgow city-centre officeSalary starting at £60,000p/a25 days holiday + 8 BHTraining budget for personal development
