Term Time + 4 Weeks

Start Date: September 2021

Location: The Hewett Academy, Norwich with some work required on site at JAC

The Hewett Academy has undergone a transformation in the last five years and under a new leadership team is about to start on the next stage of School Improvement. Graded as a “good” school in our 2018 Ofsted, Hewett Academy is serious about a knowledge rich curriculum, development of cultural capital for all students and promoting great behaviour.

Jane Austen College is an 11-19 secondary school in the heart of Norwich. In our first set of GCSE results 75% of students achieved a Grade 4+ in English and Maths, and our A-level results have been the top of all state sixth forms in Norwich for the third year in a row. We are an English & Humanities Specialist school.

Working across both schools, we are looking to recruit an excellent Data and Assessment Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the skills, amongst others:-

  • To manage data analysis for the Academy and Trust by collating, controlling, interpreting and disseminating complete and accurate data to enable target setting, analyse results and provide baseline data for the Executive Leadership Team and classroom teachers, so action can be taken to help raise student standards of achievement.
  • To manage the Academy’s reporting of pupil progress to parents.
  • To ensure accurate and timely production of Academy statistics in order to report to the government, Academy Governors, Trust, Executive Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
  • To ensure efficient and effective arrangements for internal and external examinations that take place at the Academy, to meet the requirements of examination boards and the needs of the candidates.
