Lorien Global have partnered with a leading utilities company who are looking to add a Data Architect to their team. You will take a leading role in the design, development, and implementation of their new cloud-based Enterprise Data Platform.

Within the role you will be working with their new cloud-based data platform to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure analytics products that will help to provide insight, and support data-led decision making.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant data management/ data architecture experience.
• Good knowledge of relevant enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Knowledge of data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical) and of how data flows can be defined and used to depict the data lifestyle.
• Experience using cloud-based products and services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake).
• The ability to work closely with stakeholders to elicit requirements, and to translate these into effective physical implementations.
• Experience communicating with Stakeholders at all levels of the business, and the ability to translate concepts in a manner relevant to your audience.
