Purpose of post:

The postholder will be responsible for collecting and entering data in databases and for maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Our ideal candidate will have essential data entry skills, like fast typing with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets, online forms, and the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven interpersonal and influencing skills and outstanding self-management skills to work independently, autonomously and as part of a team.

Principal duties:

1. Input service user and account data by entering text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.

2. Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.

3. Generate and produce reports from raw data (including (but not limited to)) aftercare reports, HSS reports, services and activities performance reports, and store the completed work in designated locations.

4. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.

5. Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.

6. Comply with relevant data protection and GDPR legislation whilst also adhering to internal policies and procedures.

7. Scan documents, print files and upload documents, including completed DPA forms.

8. Prepare and send appropriate invoices to patient that failed to attend appointments.

9. Respond to queries for information.

10. Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions to the appropriate person.

11. Promote and work within the values of the Hear for Norfolk, effectively contributing to the organisational objectives.

12. Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate services, activities and functions.

13. Ability to work some additional hours, as required to cover staff holidays / sickness and operational needs.

14. Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Chief Executive /
Operations Manager / Office Manager that may reasonably fall within the scope of the post.
