Sector: Livestock Data Systems Manager

The Opportunity: A very rewarding and integral role to develop and maintain the digital transformation of one of the UK’s largest red meat processors. Managing a small team of Livestock Coordinators, you will ensure a flow of accurate and timely data from its supplying farmers. You will work closely with an IT team to deliver and develop a road map of continual enhancements to data collection using your knowledge and analysis of the data collated.

Skills Required:

Essential

  • Experience of livestock farming - cattle and/or sheep
  • Passionate about livestock systems and the importance of data collection
  • An exceptional communicator
  • Strong IT and data systems knowledge
  • The ability to give advice, guide, and decide on core business decisions
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience of working within a high performing and highly capable team
  • Proven ability to lead a team
  • The flair and tenacity to challenge the norm and do things differently
  • Self-motivated, with good time management
