Data Analyst - North WestAre you a talented Analyst looking for a new and exciting opportunity to work for a growing, ambitious, innovative, expanding company? My client are putting a focus on their Business Intelligence and Data.My client are an award winning UK wide organisation within the Healthcare industry.The RoleThis role is varied with a wide range of responsibilities, the main responsibilities this role will entail:
  • Pick up requests from the service desk/emails, send out requirements documentation for the stakeholders to fill in, set up Workshops/Meetings and Gathering Requirements in more detail (is it new request or change request, building a Scope/mock-up/prototype, Update meetings with clients, Testing, UAT Testing, Sign Off/Peer review, Go Live/publish, Delivery & Implementation, Visualisation Workshops/Demos, Support.
  • Presenting to senior stakeholders and C Suite.
  • Analysis - Providing insights, intelligence, commentary, findings, recommendations.
  • Understanding the data, what it means, present findings to key stakeholders in the leadership team.
Main Skill-SetWe are looking for a good mix of the below skills, (not necessarily all of the below):
  • T-SQL - Writing queries, writing code, understanding the concept, joining tables, creating CTEs, creating views, read and understand other people’s code
  • Power BI
  • Tableau
Desired Skill-SetThese are skills that would be an added bonus if you had them, (it is not compulsory for the role, if you have them - great, but if not you will be given the chance to develop these skills over time):
  • Alteryx
Must HavesTo be successful, it is essential you have the following:
  • 3 years minimum as an BI/Data Analyst
  • 2+ years T-SQL
  • Analysis of quantitative data
  • Great communication - forge relationships
