Due to continued growth and constant demand of a global customer base, our client is seeking the addition of a Customer Tech Quality Lead to expertly lead quality operations across multiple UK supplier sites, whilst driving improvements to current processes and procedures.

Due to the nature of the role, regular UK travel is expected predominantly throughout the Yorkshire, Midlands and Warwickshire areas.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Attend various customer sites to carry out audits, assessments and inspections of their current quality processes and procedures, identifying key areas for improvement
  • Create and deploy numerous training programs tailored to the customer, based on topics relating to zero defects
  • Roll out of continuous improvement methodologies including 5Y, 8D and Six Sigma
  • Deal with escalated enquiries from UK suppliers, whilst providing efficient solutions to maintain maximum customer satisfaction
  • Chair weekly objectives meetings with quality team, outlining KPI and other metric targets
  • Produce detailed FAIR reports and inspect reports from the wider team to ensure compliance has been adhered across multiple sites
  • Oversee and manage the Non-Conformance Management process and act accordingly
  • Carry out internal audits in collaboration with the Quality Manager and QHSE department
Skills & Experience
  • Degree qualified in relevant engineering or technical discipline
  • In depth knowledge of AS13000, 13003 & 13004 essential
  • Experience working with First Article Inspection Reports
  • Experience with processes such as geometric tolerancing and calibration measurement techniques
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, KPI driven environment
  • Holder of Lead Auditor qualification advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
