Summary of position

Reporting to the Sales & Commercial Manager, the Customer Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the MEDI-Clear office, including order fulfilment and logistics coordination, customer account management, and maintenance of supplies.

Please note:This is a 1-year contract (May 2022 – April 2023).

Here are some of the different activities you’ll be asked to do:

  • Processing customer orders in an accurate and timely manner, monitoring the progress of orders and advising of any delays as necessary.
  • Management of order logistics, including transport booking.
  • Collaborating with the Operations team to ensure production schedules align with customer demands.
  • Providing strong, effective customer service, escalating to the Sales & Commercial Manager when required.
  • Monitoring customer payment status and following up when required.
  • Uploading invoices and data to company computer systems, including Sage 200.
  • Overseeing the month end reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Ordering production and office supplies, ensuring the best possible value and quality.
  • Providing status updates and reporting to the management team and external accountant/stakeholders when required.

If you’ve got:

  • Minimum 3 years in a customer service environment.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Good working knowledge of Sage accounting products.
  • Confident in dealing with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Good at prioritising a varied workload.
