Customer Success Manager

The Customer Success Manager engages our customer to drive adoption of the Leica Microsystems image analysis software portfolio. This is a critical function with a clear focus: to successfully onboard, accompany new customers to deliver a positive customer and user experience and turn them into advocates as well as manage renewals.

Your Responsibilities
  • Contribute to translating Leica’s global strategy into actions at EMEA regional level.
  • Communicate progress on execution, using Visual and Daily Management reporting.
  • Report Customers’ feedback and provide recommendations to help improve our products and their overall experience.
  • Directly contribute to meeting quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Creating and maintaining a digital content library for customer self-learning with the support of our Application, Product Expert and Marketing teams.
  • Defining standard training packages for basic and advanced customer.
  • Act as a first point of contact for customers for their questions about Leica Microsystems’ software.
  • Drive retention by understanding customer business needs such as image analysis requirements and by helping them succeed.
  • Work with our Market Development, Application, Product Expert and Marketing teams to create and grow a strong user community
  • Nurture relationships with key science centers, scientists and influencers in academia and in industry.
  • Manage renewals and drive expansion.
  • Engage actively and collaborate closely with Account Managers as account owners to identify expansion opportunities from the existing user community.
  • Promote positive customer experience and customer success a the strategic base for SaaS business model.
  • Drive team Engagement and foster an inclusive culture.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
  • Proven successful experience in customer facing role such as Customer Success Management, Pre-Sales or Account Management in a SaaS or software sales environment.
  • Experience using microscopy and/or image analysis software.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced microscopy systems (e.g. confocal, multi-photon, spinning disk, light sheet / SPIM, electron microscopy (EM), 3D X-Ray or CT / MRI imaging).
  • Successful experience in building partnerships with Key Customers to turn them into advocates
  • Consistent track record in customer support roles.
  • Expertise in bio image analysis.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Education
  • BA / BS or MS degree in biology or chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Fluent in English and in another European language.
Travel
  • Travel (required estimated 15-20% of time)
