As part of a next-generation services group, Verastar, our aim is to help UK businesses of all sizes protect themselves with a number of tailored products that suit their needs.Through a combination of some of the most well-known insurers and some more specialist niche insurers, we compare business insurance quotes, aiming to help our customers by tailoring their policy to exactly what they need.As we are part of a larger commercial business services group, we have all of the benefits and support that come with a corporate entity while maintaining the ethos, family-feel and proactive nature of a smaller company.Your RoleYou will be focused on interacting with our existing customers by managing and resolving queries and processing requested amendments related to our insurance products and services and issuing renewal documentation. A key requirement of the role is that all activity performed aligns with our values and behaviours, with a customer-centric focus always maintained.
  • Inbound and outbound calling to our existing customers to manage and resolve their queries
  • Complete all reports, system and CRM updates in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform all activity within regulatory standards, GDPR, quality policies and FCA regulation
  • Develop a working knowledge of our systems and business processes
  • Complete all financial transactions in accordance with CASS rules and GDPR restrictions
  • Manage mid-term customer queries, ensuring policy is fit for requirements
  • Create excellent working relationships across our colleague community
Experience Required
  • Previous experience in commercial insurance customer service preferred, but not essential
  • Demonstrable evidence of a stable employment record
  • A basic level of understanding of B2B sales processes is preferred, but not essential
  • A basic level understanding of regulatory and customer requirements impacting insurance policies, preferred, but not essential
