Due to the nature of this role, we require all applicants to be over 18 to apply.

Complete the Customer Delivery Driver Trainee programme to become a fully Competent John Lewis Customer Delivery Installer.

Starting rate £11.00 p/h whilst completing your training program.

On completion of your training, your salary will increase to a minimum of £12.50 p/h (£26,741) as you continue your journey with John Lewis.

2 Shift Patterns Available

06:00 - 17:00 (4 Days per week)

10:30 - 21:30 (4 Days per week)

Duties And Responsibilities

You will be expected to contribute to the safe working environment by being aware of, and adhering to, legislative and health & safety requirements of the workplace and whilst in customer homes Please note that this role involves heavy lifting.

Essential Experience
  • Full car driving licence (with no more than a maximum of 6 points)
  • Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (you will spend a lot of time delivering large two-man items such as sofas, white goods, sports equipment, furniture, beds and mattresses etc…..)
Desirable Experience
  • Good verbal communication skills both over the phone and face to face
  • Good local geographical knowledge
  • Installation and disconnection of white goods
  • TV installations
  • Assembly of flat packs
  • IT Skills
