We are currently recruiting for a talented Legal Administrator to join our first class, Customer department, in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.

The Legal Administrator supports fee earning colleagues by completing administrative legal tasks to ensure that all cases are set up accurately and on time.

Responsibilities to include:
Ensure all new files are opened accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide administrative support to fee earners as directed to ensure effective and efficient administration, management and maintenance of files from opening to archiving.
Effectively handle team email queue, ensuring this is kept tidy and up to date at all times.
Screen telephone calls and take relevant messages or deal with enquiries where possible from clients, executives and others.
Independently prepare letters, attendances, and internal memoranda as appropriate and provide effective support, guidance and delegation to colleagues.

About You:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and relevant practice and business IT systems, particularly Tikit.
Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or relevant work experience
Sound knowledge of legislation and legal process relevant to own Practice Group
A willingness to learn and must be a quick learner
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Able to work on own initiative
Ability to cope with tight deadlines
