Customer Account Manager required for professional services firm based at Birmingham International Park near Birmingham International Railway. 5 days per week. Currently all team members are working from home but the successful candidate will be required to work from the office at some point in the future.

2020 Innovation Training Limited (“2020”) is an established professional services firm with over 1,000 accounting firms subscribing as members to receive training and support. The Customer Account Manager is an important role within the 2020 business and you will be the third member of this growing team. It seeks to develop and maintain strong and positive long term relationships with new and existing members. Working closely with other members of the team, this individual will ensure that new members are welcomed and supported to make optimum use of the 2020 member proposition. Additionally, the Customer Account Manager will be in regular contact with existing members and be a point of contact for any member queries regarding the 2020 offering.

2020 are the leading voluntary membership organisation for accountants in the UK and are going through an exciting phase of growth with adding new members and offering additional services.

Salary £25,000 per annum (full time, 5 days per week), with a salary review after 6 months based on performance, plus a team performance bonus.

Your duties will include:

  • The welcome and induction of new members in order that they understand and value the scope of the 2020 proposition
  • Developing and maintaining an open and ongoing dialogue with existing members, to increase member advocacy and ensure members continue to value and use our range of tools and services
  • Being the point of contact for members to discuss general queries regarding the current and future 2020 proposition
  • The training and educating of new and existing members on our proposition and how to maximise the value of their membership
  • Having regular contact with members to create goodwill and a positive image for 2020.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a customer account role is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and rapport building skills with a track record of developing trusted and valued trading relationships
  • An ability to leverage from strong personal relationships to subtly promote and sell the company’s offering to maximise usage of 2020 tools and services
  • Being self-motivated, dynamic with a positive mental attitude
  • Being goal oriented, focussed and resilient
  • Having outstanding personal organisation skills with a track record of being a consistently strong completer and finisher
  • Having the ability to collaborate with team members
  • Being a structured thinker with the ability to develop and effectively deliver campaigns and contact strategies
  • The skills and knowledge to develop and use our CRM system as part of their member engagement delivery plans
  • Experience of Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • A prior knowledge and understanding of the accountancy profession.
