Intelligent Resource is working in partnership with a major Client in the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Cubing Specialist to be based around Goodwood for the contract role.Job Title: Cubing SpecialistLocation:Goodwood PO18 0SH- 2 days per week onsiteDuration: 12 months contractIR35 Status: Inside IR35What will you be doing?
  • Working with the Cubing team and for the Cubing Leader to support new model introduction via cubing activities (zero tolerance body build up).
  • Problem Management - Highlight, escalate and confirm closure of containment of PQM’s to ensure engineering or technical solutions to problems are defined prior to start of series production.
  • Support within a cross functional team (internal and external) to ensure on alignment of activities to deliver a successful cubing event. Steering the team to deliver on demanding targets/timing deadlines set by the project.
During The Planning Phase For The Events
  • Support in planning the cubing event with the use of the cubing process to ensure that parts build sequence and daily build schedule is created and communicated across the wider team. Releasing the plan and communicating the requirements to the various internal and external partners within the process.
  • Ordering of the Cubing parts in accordance to the cubing standards including adhering to the projects budgets for the cubing parts.
  • Ensuring parts are tracked into plant and delivery process of parts is monitored to ensure parts are delivered against the project timelines, booking of parts and storage of parts into the cubing storage racks ready for the cubing event. Coordinating logistics department and managing individual supplier delivery requirements.
