An opportunity has arisen to join the Frontier team; based at Bourne we are looking for a Crop Protection Logistics Supervisor to join us on a permanent full-time basis.

The successful candidate will ensure that the site provides and supplies products with market leading customer service to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, legal and compliant day-to-day crop protection operations, maintaining maximum efficiency without compromising safety or customer service levels.

Ideal candidate

  • Able to develop effective working relationships
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills at all levels
  • Knowledge of ADR & Driving Regulations
  • Experience of supervising and managing teams
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontier values/customer service
  • Ability to adapt quickly to accommodate changing business and customer needs, while providing a responsive customer focussed service
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • Experience of delivering high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of BASIS/COMAH – desirable

The role – Key responsibilities

  • Actively promote and embed HAS into all working practices and behaviours and lead by example
  • Co-ordinate delivery of CP orders to customer requirements, working closely and communicating with the Central & EMAT Teams to meet standards in the Bourne SLA
  • Ensure all driving standards are achieved as set out by Fleet Services
  • Responsible for the control and monitoring of vehicle utilisation, daily checks, driver hours and DVSA/ADR requirements for all site delivery vehicles and drivers
  • Assist Site Manager in the review of site reports and achieving of KPIs
  • Assist Store Supervisor in ensuring the Crop Protection store is operated within all BASIS & COMAH requirements
