Crop Inputs Specialist position available based our at Louth, Lincolnshire office. Full time - 40 hours per week. (Mon -Fri). This is a role for someone wanting to develop their agric career with a view to being part of future management succession within Woldmarsh.

Responsibilities

Working closely with our Members, Agronomists, Suppliers and stakeholders. Handling member requests and placing orders as part of the team. Helping plan agrochemical, fertilizer and seed campaigns, negotiating preferential rates and providing excellent service. Proactive in identifying new products, technologies for crop inputs and how these can be introduced to the membership. Contributing to member bulletins, attending shows and events as required. Promoting the ethos of a co-operative organisation and aligning with our values.

Qualifications

Must understand UK farming and the changes taking place in agriculture. SFI knowledge an advantage. BASIS qualified and on the professional register. Understanding of seed and fertilizer, although training to FACTS standard will be provided for the right candidate. Must have great communication skills, IT literate and be a team player.

Ambition to undertake relevant training and personal development opportunities is a must given this is a role with the potential to grow to management level.
