Metal Solutions is a leading specialist roofing and cladding manufacturer located in Bolton. We are a family business and currently recruiting for a part time/permanent experienced credit controller to work in our busy Account’s office in Bolton.

Successful candidate will support our Credit Control Team Leader and duties will include:

  • Matching delivery notes to works orders in preparation for invoicing.
  • Daily/weekly invoicing via bespoke manufacturing software
  • Daily banking including analysing and posting sales, bank and credit card receipts
  • Updating cashflow
  • Processing proforma telephone payments
  • Setting up new customer accounts, including the checking of credit limits
  • Checking existing customer credit prior to expiration and renew
  • Answer day to day sale ledger customer queries i.e. confirming payment receipts, sending copy invoices etc.
  • Oversee all electronic filing within the Accounts department
  • Other ad hoc duties to assist both Credit Control and Purchase Ledger

The successful applicant must be experienced, competent and accurate on Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel. All training will be provided however must be able to check own work and happy to assist in other accounting duties.

Sage 50 Accounts experience is advantageous but not essential.

We offer competitive rates of pay and a pension scheme.

Hours 9am-3pm Monday – Friday (exact times and hours and length of term open to negotiation).
