We are looking to recruit an experienced, smart and motivated individual to work as a Credit Controller within our accounts & administration team.

Credit Controller

Duties include:

  • Daily banking and allocation of payments onto the system
  • Accurate card payments and allocation
  • Control and manage debtors in line with credit terms
  • Chasing debt via telephone, emails and letters to facilitate high level cash flow
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries, disputes and issues
  • Escalating problem accounts
  • Building up relationships with customers
  • Credit checks and experience of working with credit limits
  • Sending statements
  • Liaising and providing updates and support to sales operatives and branch accountant

About the Candidate:

  • Previous credit control/sale ledger experience within the automotive industry essential.
  • Computer literate, especially Microsoft Office / Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good business acumen for problem solving
  • Previous experience of using Kerridge/CDK or a similar system would be advantageous but not essential.

Details:

  • Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • 20 days holiday plus statutory
