Position:Credit Control Manager

Location:Stanley House, Anthony’s Way, Medway City Estate, Rochester, ME2 4NF

Line Reporting Manager:Finance Director

Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm (37.5hr week)

Principle Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Manage and control the credit for MTS Cleansing Group and CFS Contract accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the collection of fuel receipts and checking transactions against the relevant invoices
  • Take full ownership of chasing debtors and resolving complex customer queries
  • Assisting in general ad hoc duties where required
  • ·Supporting the Purchase Ledger Officers
  • Bank reconciliations of 3 accounts
  • Journals x 5
  • Manual i/vs – vehicle sales, workshop repairs etc.
  • Payments HSBC for ad hoc payments
  • BACS Payments – Suppliers
  • Input to Tradex – Invoices
  • Manage and monitor Credit Card payments
  • Hotel Bookings for employees working away from home courses.
  • CFS Banking and credit control
  • Current Account banking
  • Proforma’s
  • Credits
  • Create new general ledger codes
  • Send invoices/credit to bank – sales invoice finance (SIF)
  • Balance VAT for MTS Cleansing Group and CFS
  • MTD (Making Tax Digital)
  • Month end for MTS Cleansing Group and CFS
  • Update vehicle list for coding – contract/non contract (fusion)

Qualifications / Competency:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
  • Ability to input vast amounts of data
  • Must be computer literate and able to deal with allocated ledgers but also work as part of a team
  • Management control systems
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Reliable
  • Work consistently to high standards of quality, health and safety
  • Ability to set own tasks and enable completion of responsibilities
  • Honest with high levels of integrity
  • Good communication skills - verbal and written

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00 per year
