We are looking to appoint a full-time friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing Creative Arts Technician who will enjoy working in a school environment. You will need excellent communication skills, have a flexible approach to work, good admin skills and enjoy working with young people. You will need to be educated to at least A Level standard in a subject related specialism and have the skills required to support the Creative Arts teachers with demonstrations, practical activities and afterschool clubs. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
This is a fixed term position until 31st August 2024 and is available with an immediate start. The hours are 37 per week working 8.00am – 4.00pm or 8.30am – 4.30pm each day as required by the line manager. This role also has an additional 12 days to be worked in the school holidays or at school events as directed by the line manager. The role is paid on a Grade F £21,785 - £25,774 (The actual salary will be £19,631 - £23,226).
As this is a term time only position you are not entitled to take leave during school term. School holidays are classed as your leave and payment for leave has been included in the calculation of your salary. The salary is proportionately reduced and paid for 46.987 weeks per year.
