About you

Naturally positive, with a solution focused attitude towards resolving variable challenges in a customer focused environment, you will recognise the importance of providing high quality administration.

You will be self-motivated, highly organised and work effectively under pressure.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to establish working relationships with all stakeholders. You will have broad experience of providing advice and guidance, ideally within a Higher Education or similar setting.

About the role

The post is based in the University’s Academic Registry, a central support team that provide high quality administrative systems and services to facilitate the student journey from enrolment through to award conferral.

Specifically, the role will involve the administration of records for students working towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) modules and programmes in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine (FHSCM).

Working closely with the CPD Administration Manager, the primary purpose of the post is to supervise the CPD Records Team on a day to day basis, to ensure excellent and effective delivery of a range of centralised administrative functions, including enrolment, programme management and any other changes to CPD student records.

The position requires a good understanding of all aspects of student administration and Student Records Systems. A key element of the role is to provide information, advice and guidance to students and to work with staff across departmental boundaries to deliver an outstanding student experience.

Rewards/benefits

You will benefit from 23 days annual leave plus 13 bank holiday and University closure days per annum. We aim to provide our staff with a positive work life balance and have a range of schemes in place to support this. Your continued professional development is as important to us as it is to you and we demonstrate this through our investment in your CPD activity.

You will be automatically enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme and have access to our staff benefits platform, which provides you with discounts across the high street to help you save money on your everyday spending such as supermarket shopping, cinema tickets, dining out and more. We also offer discounted membership to our state-of-the-art sport and leisure facilities.
